For those of you who have followed my blog for awhile, you will remember that January of last year I lost two grandparents–my mother’s mom and my father’s dad. Well, my remaining grandparent passed away a week and a half ago on February 19. My grandmother (my dad’s mom) had been fighting leukemia for awhile and had been declining. The last two months showed a dramatic decrease for her and the final couple of weeks were pretty much terrible, with the final couple of days leaving her aware yet too weak to communicate. It was a sad battle to watch, especially for the family members that got to be with her the last few weeks.<\/p>\n

For her funeral, I put together an alphabet of words to describe her. They are not all adjectives, so you’ll just have to fill in the appropriate articles to make complete sentences, but here they are.<\/p>\n

\nZoo Keeper (a)— okay I had a really hard time with “Z”, but since she had five kids I decided it fit.<\/span><\/h3>\n

My grandmother will be sorely missed, but I believe that she was indeed ready for heaven and the next thing she will know will be glory, that will be such an improvement over the suffering that she experienced the last little bit of her life.<\/p>\n
